BARBIE CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF FABULOUSITY

"On February 14th, Barbie's very first runway show hit the stage in Bryant Park. For this history-making occasion, over 50 designers from Diane von Furstenberg to Calvin Klein to Vera Wang created couture tributes to highlight the timelessness of fashion's most fabulous icon.

The show was divided into three thrilling acts: Barbie's past fashions reinterpreted, Barbie's current look as seen through the designers' lens, and the future of fashion imagined.

Each look was totally unique to its individual designer, but all of it was undeniably Barbie™. Cat-eye glasses, poufy prom dresses, lots of hot pink and big hair ruled the stage. To top it off, every outfit was completed with sky-high, strappy Christian Louboutin's, specially designed for the show in Barbie's signature pantone pink.

The hottest moment? For the show's finale, all 51 stunning models strutted back onto the catwalk holding hands with a young Barbie™ Girl who waved back to the cheering audience.

The celebrity-studded event was attended by Heidi Klum, Devyn Simone, Catherine Malandrino, Diane Von Furstenberg, Kimora Lee Simmons, Jonathan Adler, Annie Leibovitz and Bob Mackie, just to name a few."

ARIZONA TEENS CHARGED WITH BEING MADAMES:BIG PIMPING @ 16???

I have no real words for this story because I really don't want to go there on these young ass h*s. So I will keep my thoughts to myself, however big pimping at sixteen years old is just a damn shame and they should be tried as adults. See you later bye!

(CNN) -- The grandmother of a 16-year-old Arizona girl accused of prostitution -- and recruiting and pimping other teen girls -- said Wednesday she hopes to fight the charges in court.

"I really want to take it to trial," Linda Tye, grandmother of Tatiana Tye told CNN Radio. "She needs to meet her accusers."

Tatiana Tye and a second 16-year-old girl, Jazmine Finley, were indicted earlier this week by a grand jury, Maricopa County, Arizona, prosecutors said in a statement. Although the girls are juveniles, prosecutors released their names and said they will be tried as adults.

Tye is charged with one count of child prostitution and three counts of pandering, or serving as a go-between or liaison for sexual purposes, prosecutors said.

Finley faces nine counts of child prostitution; two counts of receiving earnings of a prostitute; and one count of pandering. All the charges are felonies, prosecutors said.

The two were arrested last week after a five-month investigation, Phoenix police told reporters. Authorities believe Tye and Finley recruited at least five girls, ranging in age from 14 to 17, on the campuses of their high schools, police spokesman Sgt. Andy Hill said in a Monday news briefing posted on the Web site of CNN affiliate KTVK.

"We have a situation of two girls, 16 years old, who are, in essence, pimps," Hill said. "And they ran their own brothel."

Police believe the girls had rented an apartment used solely for acts of prostitution, he said.
Prosecutors, citing a police probable cause statement, said the teenagers recruited girls by telling them of "all the money they would be making. Additionally, they were told that it was better working for them as opposed to male pimps because they would not get beat up."

Hill said, "I think we were all surprised at, you know, were these 16-year-old girls that were arrested, were they running this business? And the answer is yes, they were."

In a jailhouse interview with KTVK, Tatiana Tye blamed Finley for introducing her to the world of prostitution, and said she was "a follower, not a leader, following whatever Jazmine does, and those were bad things."

She denied recruiting anyone or receiving any money, although she did acknowledge she was scared at times.

"All I'm saying is, before (Finley) came into my life, none of this stuff was going on," Tatiana Tye said. "I don't even know much about prostitution and stuff. I've seen it before, because Jazmine had a pimp."

However, she refused to answer questions about whether she had worked as a prostitute or about the apartment.

KTVK said it attempted to interview Finley, but her guardian failed to show up at the jail to give permission.

Accompanied by her grandmother, Tatiana Tye told reporters she didn't want to talk to them initially, but "then again, I thought about, people need to know the truth. I mean, I would never, ever call myself a pimp or a madam."

Asked what she would say to other teens, she said, "I would just tell them, don't hang out with people that you know are doing bad stuff, because they'll drag you down with them."
Linda Tye said she had custody of her granddaughter, who moved in with her after leaving her mother's home.

She said Tatiana Tye "admits to knowing Jazmine, hanging out and being with Jazmine. That she admits to. The rest, she doesn't really want to talk about before she goes to trial and talks to her lawyers."

As of Wednesday, she said, attorneys had only visited her granddaughter briefly, but longer visits are planned.

She said she is worried about Tatiana Tye's health in jail, as she is eating only grapefruit and refuses to drink the water. The girl's younger sister, 13, misses her and hasn't been able to see her, she said.

She told CNN she does not understand how prosecutors can try her granddaughter as an adult.

"I want (people) to know that my little granddaughter, she is a loving person. She smiles all the time ... she's a little confused, but that's no reason, and people shouldn't sit and judge people. I just don't like that. You don't know the facts, you don't know the truth, don't do that," Linda Tye said.

But asked whether she had any advice for others, she said, "Pay attention to your kids. If you're a grandparent, pay attention to your grandchildren, because you never know what they're up to.

This is a big mess, and that's what it is."

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA: LISA WU-HARTWELL FILES FOR CUSTODY

Well Sassy Muffins according to AJC.com, which always keeps us very up to date on most REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA bossip, Lisa Wu-Hartwell has filed a petition with the courts. Lisa is requesting a modification of her present parental situation concerning her older two sons with R&B singer Keith Sweat. Lisa is one of my favorites on the show so I am wishing her well on this custody battle. The skinny on the logistics are below.

"The best interest of the minor children will be served by modifying the current custody and visitation provisions to make Mother the primary physical condition of the minor children,” according to the court papers filed with the Superior Court of Fulton County. “Since the time of the Divorce Decree, Mother has remarried, owns a successful business and will provide a stable, loving, and nurturing environment in which she can raise the minor children.”

She is seeking “primary physical custody and joint legal custody with final decision-making on all issues regarding the minor children.” She will “reasonably engage Father in good faith discussions before any final decisions are made concerning the children's welfare.” The two children are Jordan Sweat, age 14, and Justin Sweat, age 11.

If she does get custody, she requests child support as well.

In 2003, Sweat received primary custody of the children. According to the final divorce decree written by Fulton Superior Court judge Cynthia D. Wright, Sweat and Wu Hartwell married in 1992 and had the judge termed at the time an “extremely tumultuous relationship.” Wright wrote that “there is evidence that Father has been violent towards Mother, but no evidence he has ever been violent with any of his children.”

The judge felt the children at the time “lacked structure in their lives, due in substantial part to Mother’s numerous business ventures and frequent trips out of town … Mother has a history of spending money on herself excessively rather than providing for the children … There was some evidence at trial that Mother implicitly participated in robbing Father in the presence of the children. She also took money from Father prior to the initiation of this matter. This behavior causes the Court to question Mother’s maturity and judgment.”

Although Sweat, too, travels frequently, the decree said Sweat's mom helped care for the children. “Father is capable of providing a stable, secure home environment for the boys where their care is not delegated to random third parties,” the judge wrote.

Wu Hartwell has had visitation rights and has said in past interviews she sees her sons frequently. Neither boy was shown on camera or even talked about on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” because Sweat would not give her legal permission to do so. Sweat is never mentioned by name on the show.

Wu Hartwell is currently married to former NFL player Ed Hartwell. They have a child, who we saw on the TV show, which began taping its second season Monday.

Carlos Scott, her publicist, said Wu Hartwell cannot speak on the subject while it’s in the court system. Wu Hartwell said nothing about the custody case on Saturday at her South Dekalb Mall appearance, though she did note that her ex-husband didn’t clear her sons to be on the show."

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA UPDATE: KIM & BIG POPPA

Just in time for filming of Bravo's money making #1 housewife show the Real Housewives of Altlanta aka BANKHEAD rumors and news are at an all time high. According to Bossip.com Big Poppa has finally filed for divorce and left his wifey. I guess the wife is pretty upset to say it mildly and is pretty much stalking Kim...(I wonder why)**giggles** LIONS, TIGERS, AND BEARS OH MY. Below is the full story.

"Bossip just caught word that Kim Zolciak’s pimp, Lee Najjar (aka. Big Poppa), has left his wife to move in with Kim Z. at the townhouse that HE currently pays for. A source close to Lee’s wife, Kim Najjar, said that she is extremely upset over the situation, and can’t believe that Lee left her for a ”high class prostitute.” Divorce proceedings are supposedly taking place now. There’s no word as to whether or not Lee will be featured on the show, but we can just about guarantee that he will not. Allegedly, Kim is also being sued by her ex-publicist for non-payment of services, and the publicist has taken out a protective order against her for making vicious threats.

In funny news, Nene, who used to strip at Atlanta’s famous Magic City, actually met Kim while she was stripping at Atlanta’s Cheetah club. A Cheetah spectator reached out to Bossip to talk about Kim’s performances. “She used to dress up like a nurse with the name “Barbie.” Her lap dances were pretty good.” Apparently Kim wished that her stage alias reflected her real occupation, which is why she lied about being a RN (registered nurse). Our source confirmed that Kim was a CNA (certified nursing assistant), not a RN.

Our source also went on to say that Sheree has finally found a house and will no longer be homeless. Tameka Foster will NOT be joining the cast.…this season. Most likely due to her complications with her recent liposuction procedure."
